About Katy

For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's challenges and possibilities. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20 years of private practice experience, I understand that people are shaped by their relationships, their experiences, and the stories they carry—and that meaningful healing often begins when we feel truly seen and understood.

I work with clients across the lifespan and am especially passionate about supporting healthier relationships, emotional healing, personal growth, and greater connection. I approach each person with respect for their individuality, strengths, and capacity for change.

My therapeutic style is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can slow down, gain insight, understand patterns, and begin creating meaningful change. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers, but about developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and discovering new ways of relating, coping, and moving forward. I draw from Structural Family Therapy, systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, tailoring our work to your individual needs.

I co-founded Vita Therapy Collective with Erica Wiley, PhD, to create a practice that reflects our shared belief in the power of connection, compassionate care, and relationships. Through Vita, I hope to offer a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and able to pursue meaningful change.
