About Erin

I believe healing begins with feeling safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to offer a compassionate space where you can bring your experiences as they are, without pressure to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. Together, we can make sense of what you're carrying and explore what moving forward might look like for you.

I work with people navigating complex trauma, PTSD, grief, and loss, with a particular focus on supporting military personnel and veterans. I recognize that difficult experiences can shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and find a sense of safety in everyday life. I take time to understand the whole person—the experiences, relationships, circumstances, and strengths that make your story your own.

My background includes more than 20 years in social services and counseling, including work with people facing mental health concerns, substance use, family challenges, and involvement in the corrections system. Before founding my private practice in 2021, I provided counseling, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation support within the Department of Corrections. These experiences deepened my understanding of how trauma and the systems surrounding us can affect well-being, as well as the importance of care grounded in dignity and compassion.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and narrative therapy, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. Together, we can explore the effects of difficult experiences, make room for grief, and develop ways of coping that support the life and relationships you want.

Outside the therapy room, I'm involved in suicide prevention and mental health awareness through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and I serve as president of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association's Military and Government Counseling Division. Connection and community matter to me, and I bring that same commitment to helping people feel less alone into my work with clients.
